About Us

Gagajoo Garden and Landscapes, based in West Yorkshire is a unique garden landscape business set up by Yorkshire brothers, Steven and Michael Clayton. They grew up in Yorkshire and still live in Leeds. As Yorkshire lads born and bred they tell it like it is – straight forward, genuine, honest, reliable and hardworking.

Steven Says:

"My passion is designing and constructing hard landscaping of the highest quality. By hard landscaping I mean the parts of a garden/patio/terrace/driveway that are solid structures – usually the stonework or brickwork. For example, I pride myself in creating wonderful patios, laying circular stone features, building walls of stone or brick or dry stone walling, laying flagging/paving (using natural products such as Yorkshire Stone Flagging / Indian Stone Paving or manmade material), block paving driveways, paths, patios or terraces, and creating unique garden steps. I gained 20+years experience working with stone and brick whilst employed in the building/construction industry. I turned my attention, and skills, to garden landscapes some six years ago. Building a house for a large company, and being paid on price, makes a wage but is nowhere near as satisfying as designing and creating a unique landscape and an exceptional garden!"

Steven's passion as a landscaper is matched only by Michael’s passion for soft landscaping, garden design, creative vision, and sheer hard work!
