An unloved back garden in Guiseley turned into something versatile, starting with a paved area straight off the back doors, retaining walls to section it off and drainage channels for the heavy rain.

The owners wanted a back garden they would use, beginning with paving they could step onto from the house.

What we built

We installed retaining walls to section the new patio off from the rest of the garden, along with sufficient drainage channels to let excess water escape in heavy rain. The patio went down in Indian paving stones, carried up across the higher part of the garden to join the existing patio at the top so the paving flows through. A new grassy area and flower beds went in as well, ready for the owners to make their own.
