Oak sleepers terracing the slope with new timber steps running up through them

An unusable sloped garden divided with oak frame sleepers: a large paved patio at the rear where the sun falls, and an artificial lawn at the bottom where the children can play safely.

The slope made the garden no use to the family, so we split it into levels that each do a job.

What we built

Oak frame sleepers divide the slope. A large paved patio sits at the rear of the garden and an artificial lawn went in at the bottom. That lets the owners make the most of the sun on the patio while the children have somewhere safe to play below.
