A slatted pergola over a hot tub

A garden drawn around a new hot tub. We built a shaded pergola over it, paved the patio in Kandla grey with a cut curved front edge, and ran a raised sleeper planter along the bottom of the garden.

The hot tub came first, so the design was drawn around it.

What we built

A shaded pergola went up over the tub. We paved the patio in Kandla grey pavers with a cut curved front edge, and built a raised sleeper planter along the bottom of the garden, which we planted up to soften it. A small section of artificial lawn was laid and a shed base put down in recycled slabs. Last of all, a little patch of gravel, cobbles and rocks. Small jobs, those last ones, and they are the ones that do the most.
