Curved stone patios and steps to the lawn
An unloved patio and a lawn that gave the owners nowhere to sit. We put in two semi-circular patios, one for dining and one for sitting out, and a stabilised gravel path that rings the lawn.
The old patio and the lawn between them did not let the owners make anything of the space they had.
What we built
The unused patio became two spacious semi-circular patios, one a dining area and one a relaxed seating area. The summer house at the top of the garden makes the most of the sun and gives somewhere to escape to after a busy day. A stabilised gravel path runs around the outside of the lawn, which gives easy access round the whole perimeter and room for large planting areas. It curves round in a downward slope to the back of the garden, so no steps were needed.
