A three-ring stone circle in old York paving
An uneven, slightly sloped back garden the owner had struggled to keep on top of. We filled in one of the two ponds and paved over it with a three-ring promenade stone circle set within old York pavers.
Uneven surfacing and a slight slope meant the owner had struggled to maintain the garden, and it was not somewhere she enjoyed spending time.
What we built
One of the two ponds was filled in and paved over. The new patio is a three-ring promenade set edge circle within old York pavers, edged with midnight blue setts, and it gives the garden a centre piece to sit in after a long day. The garden sits lower than the house, so we reworked the approach to it as well, adding paved areas for pots, plants and garden features.
